Watch: Environmental standards and certifications in sport

Our first GAMES webinar, hosted on Monday 6 November 2023, explored environmental standards and certifications in sport.

Bob Ramsak, Head of Sustainability at World Athletics, and Tiberio Daddi, Associate Professor at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, presented their knowledge and experience in this field. 

Attendees learned:

– How World Athletics is developing its own standard based on ISO 20121

– What ISO 14001, EMAS and EU Ecolabel are – and how they can be applied to sport

– Practical first steps to apply standards to their event or organisation
